James snorted and left Grandpa's room with Edwin and the others,leaving only Alan and Sarah in the room.
As the door closed, Ethan solemnly reminded the two remaining people,“I will carefully observe the poison in Old Master Harris's body next. As long as I can tell his physical condiion and the poison's natures, detoxification will be very fast, but the whole process mnay take some time. Please be patient and do not disturb me!"
The thick and viscous substance was different from the coolness the bead absorbed earlier, and it would take a relatively long time to convert. Based on the amount of poison in Clarence's body, Ethan estimated that it would take at least 30 minutes to completely transform. That's why he first sent James, the meddler,out of the room.
"Don't you have to give us a timeframe?" Alan reminded with a frown,dissatisfied.
