"You... you used to be classmates with Emily." Kurt snapped when he saw someone defending Emily.

"Yeah, Mr. Lowe," Erik nodded.

Kurt sneered at Eli, "You heard that, right? Emily's not being difficult. She's at a crucial point in her experiment. If you really want to be a good dad, don't bother her now. Leave immediately! Or else, don't blame me for calling security and making you a trending topic: 'Dad shows favoritism, blames daughter, and brings bodyguards to school to catch her!”"

Eli faced Kurt's threat head-on.

With so many classmates having a positive impression of Emily,he knew that continuing to argue wouldn't help him take Emily away today. Just then, Eli's phone rang.

It was Isaac calling.

"Hey, Isaac... Okay, I'll be right there," he responded urgently,realizing it was a company matter.

After hanging up, he took a deep look at everyone present, waved his hand, and quickly left with his bodyguards.

"They're gone, they're gone!”

Sophia had been watching from the window. Seeing Eli leave, she exclaimed excitedly.

Emily had already finished filling in the data and writing some theoretical knowledge. Hearing Sophia's words, she packed up her things and stood up, "Let's go too!"

"Okay," Sophia followed, feeling like she couldn't keep up with Emily's thinking.

When Emily reached downstairs, Kurt was about to go up. She handed him the documents, "This should be enough for everyone for a while. I have some things to attend to in the next few days so that I won't be coming to the lab."

Kurt couldn't help but quickly scan the documents as soon as he received them, and he became excited.

"Great, I'll call you if there are any issues." His mind was already on the experiment, eager to verify the data and theories in the lab.

Emily nodded, and Kurt quickly left with the documents.

Erik and his group saw that Emily didn't even want to see her own father, Eli. They thought about finding another opportunity to apologize to her and were about to leave.

But then they saw her coming downstairs.

Erik and his group hurried forward. "Emily, we sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding about you on the campus forum. Please forgive us for our biased beliefs." "Emily, we're sorry."

Everyone else also bowed and apologized sincerely.

She then regained her composure and looked at Erik and the others,"Is the campus forum incident the only mistake you made?"

Her words made some of them lower their heads in guilt. In the past,because of Bianca, they had looked down on Emily and even mocked her several times.

It wasn't as severe as the forum incident, but it had driven Emily to change her major.

"Emily,we might have misunderstood you in the past and thought you were bullying Bianca. We didn't verify the facts, and that was wrong. We'll remember this lesson and won't make similar mistakes again.We're sorry!"

Someone stepped forward and sincerely apologized,mentioning Bianca.

Others also realized that their negative impression of Emily stemmed from Bianca.

Most of those who got into Celestial University weren't foolish and quickly understood the root of the problem.

They apologized to Emily again. Sophia wanted to retort, but Emily stopped her.

Emily's expression was indifferent, "If apologies were enough,we wouldn't need the police. Forgiveness is something I can't offer.We won't be in the same class anymore, so you can leave."

The suffering and humiliation she endured were partly their fauIt.

Living a second life, she wanted to follow her heart and be a little selfish. If she didn't want to forgive, she wouldn't.

Bianca must be furious after hearing these words.

But the corner of the dress was no longer visible, and Emily didn't care if she had left.

She walked past Erik and the others, leaving with Sophia. Emily received a call from Floyd.

"Are you free now? I have a patient with a special condition. Can you come over?"

After hanging up, Emily saw Sophia still following her.

She remnembered her promise to Sophia and said, "Before your competition, I promised to take you to meet someone, but I need to return from Emberfall City first."

"What are you going to Emberfall City for?" Sophia asked curiously.

She didn't press Emily about who she would meet.

But Sophia believed that whoever Emily introduced her to would likely be someone important.

"I have some matters to attend to, but I can't tell you yet. Are you busy right now? If not, I might need your help with something."

"Emily, whatever you need, I'm here for you," Sophia immediately offered.

Emily nodded and took out a bottle of medicine from her bag,"need you to go to the orphanage and give this medicine to the director. It's for Liam's congenital condition."

Sophia was surprised that Emily had the energy to help people at the orphanage.

Being kind-hearted herself, she quickly agreed, "Don't worry, Emily.I'll take care of it." Emily felt reassured.

After parting ways with Sophia, she took a cab to Floyd's place.

As soon as Emily arrived at the pharmacy, an employee recognized her and led her to the back room.

"Emily, come quickly," Floyd said, leading her into the room.

As soon as Emily entered, she locked eyes with the person standing opposite her.

"What are you doing here?" the person asked, their face darkening.

Floyd frowned,displeased with the person's reaction. He stood up for Emily, "This is the doctor I told you about,Emily."

"Her?" The man laughed coldly, looking at Emily with disdain,"You've stooped so low as to resort to trickery now?"
