Chapter 86

This can only be a dream. I just hope it isn't what I was thinking. Chris might have something he needs to attend to that's why he decided to move low key. It can't be what I'm thinking. Kyle had this running through his mind as he tailed Chris all the way down towards his location.

Chris who was so shaken up and in regrets of what he had done had no idea he was being followed. He just drove without checking whether he was being tailed or not. He had his fingers in his mouth as he bit his nails whiles driving with the other.

He was thorn between betrayal and regret. He couldn't bring himself to think about what he would do if someone was to find out about what he had done. Driving all the way to an abandoned village in town, he finally packed.

He hurriedly got down from the car and rushed into the building looking behind him as he placed a glove on his hands.After rushing in, he checked all the rooms for any evidence that could be traced to whoever the person could be but there none.

He then came out and came back to his car boot. He opened it and took out a galloon of fuel. He then went around the house all the while shaking as he poured it all over it and then inside it.

As he came out, he was about to walk to his car for a lighter

when he saw a familiar car with a familiar person smoking beside the car. Immediately he saw the person, he dropped the gallon from his hand and shuttered. "K. Ky. Kyl, Kyle?"

"Wha., what are you doing here?" He asked completely frightened at the moment.

Kyle just stared at him coldly and asked. "What made you do this?"

He dropped down to his knees completely in regret as he said."I did not want to to this. I had no other choice. I tried but I couldn't do anything to stop it."

Kyle didn't even finish smoking his cigarette but threw it down and stomped on it as he walked towards him in large strides.Immediately he got closer to him, he raised his fists and punched him in the face. As much as he could.

"We are a family. What happened to always and forever? What couldn't you have a choice that you had to harm Nathan in this way. He is your brother for god's sake." Kyle spoke up angrily.

"I knew he was my brother and I had no other choice. What was I to do when asked to choose between his mother and Gloria? You know I would never hurt aunt and I know Nathan's first love his Gloria but what about Hilda? She was just a nobody. She just got lucky and got married to Nathan. I do not think Nathan is even in love with her."

"No one was suppose to get hurt in this. I tried to save aunt

and Gloria. It was a necessary evil. You can think whatever you want but I did not mean for it to happen this way. You should be grateful that none of them is dead at the least."Chris replied as he fell back from the punches he recieved from Kyle.

"Grateful? Necessary evil? Did you have to sacrifice Hilda? And why would you think she got lucky? It is rather Nathan who got lucky. What you think does not even matter as they were both happy married. What evil had you do this? What was being used to blackmail you that you could not have told us about it?"

"Did you think about what Samuel wilI think or do when he finds out what you have done? Samuel has grown fond of Hilda. He joking accepting Hilda as his sworn sister and will be willing to go the extra mile for her."

"Why didn't you think about all this and how we've been there for you all this while but then you chose to stab us all in the back. When have we ever turned our back on you when you had your troubles? When have we not fought for your justice even when we knew you were even guilty? How could you do this? You had a deal with the enemy just for your own selfish gain."

"Yet again why not throw Gloria under the bus but rather Hilda? What wrong didn't Gloria do to Nathan? And Hilda,what wrong has she done for you to do this to her? She is just a simple girl who caught the eye of our brother. So is that a crime enough for you to sentence her to death?"

"Or no,you would rather have Nathan marry Gloria than be with Hilda?. After all who doesn't know that you are in love with Gloria. Just so you know. Gloria will never see you as she sees Nathan and the fact that you had just thrown Hilda under the bus for her wouldn't even change the way she feels about you."

"Your love is an unrequited love. But the bond between we the four brothers was a love far better than what you had for Gloria. And no you didn't care. Just that alone should make you think back to who made you who you are today.It is all of us. Family alone conquers all but no, you choose a deal with our enemies than confiding in us. I just hope you thought about the consequences before getting yourself into it.
