Daniel followed the police van all the way back to the police station. And he called his lawyer have him join him out there.

Moreover.Emmet dispersed the curious horde of reporters and on lookers gathered around the scene in the shop. Who wouldn't want a good and juicy story on Carmen? After all she is a rising super star who shot to fame not long ago. Juicy stories like these are worth a lot.

Once the last of the shoppers vanished to continue with their shopping. he finally turned towards Debbie with an apologetic look. "Babe. Miss Sonnia, please accept my sincerest apologies.This incident had happen because I didn't carry my job out properly. Once I return, I will take the necessary steps to improve the city's public security. This rich family won't get to be abusing their powers anymore." Emmett said as he held onto Debbie's waist sweetly.

Debbie smiled and nodded. "It isn't entirely your fault. After all the trouble came from Carmen."

Emmett smiled bitterly. "Truthfully, most of the rich and elite families are patriotic and noble citizens.. Yet, there exists a handful of jerks who think highly of themselves. Although they scorn the middle class, they are always in search of them to work for them."

"Enough already love birds. Don't forget I'm still single. My eyes is already burning from all these lovey dovey touches you

both are doing. You hurting my feelings too." Sonnia cut in as she rolled her eyes at them.

They both just laughed after hearing Hilda.

"Alright, Alright. But how did you end up in this? You and Mrs. Stephenson? But you shouldn't be worried. I won't let them off. Especially Carmen. I thought you were exaggerating all this while when you spoke about Carmen. She looked completely different from the Carmen I know on tv. I wilI let her serve as a lesson to the other celebrities who only fake being nice for the camera's. If any do follow in her footsteps,I will have to punish them according to the law." Emmett said placidly.

Sonnia nodded in acknowledgment but letter shook her head.She knew Carmen's fate will be sealed once Emmett gave the other. Since public crimes like these could range in severity,culprits of minor offenses were usually released after a handful of days. On the other hand, criminals with more serious offenses would be put behind bars for at least five years.

Considering Carmen's actions, she would spend a couple of days in jail. But Sonnia knew that it was practically her fault and she would be using the relation Emmett had with her to get Carmen in jail.

As much as she wants to teach Carmen a lesson not to mess with Hilda, she knew this wasn't her fight. She had been trying to get back at Carmen for what she had done to Hilda. But Hilda wouldn't want this. She had told her to hold off on

Carmen. Thinking about Hilda, she recalled it been a while since she last heard of her.

I need to call her. She thought.

Looking at Emmett, she voiced out. "I don't intend to press charges. You should just let her off as I was partly to be blamed."

Debbie and Emmett were both surprised. They both knew how much Sonnia had been wanting a chance to put Carmen in her place and now that she got the chance she was just going to let Carmen off? They couldn't understand but it was her decision.

They stared at Sonnia waiting for an explanation but she only rushed to pull Debbie out of Emmett's grasp. "It's okay now.Hurry back to work Emmett. Debbie has lots of work to do."With that she pushed Emmett out of the shop.

"Get going now. And have your men let them off already."

Emmett shook his head as he watched Hilda push him out. He blew a kiss at Debbie and headed for the door. "See you after work babe."

Kyle and the others have been searching for days for the whereabout of Christopher but to no avail. Nathan and Samuel couldn't believe any of it when Kyle narrated everything to them.

Nathan was quiet as he stared out of his hospital ward through the window.

"Nate. we got to make him pay. Why would he rather join forces with our enemies? Is that how low he thinksof us? And he even dared to say he had no choice? What prevented him from being all out withus?′′

"What if you didn't make it from this accident?Is this how little he thinks about us?" Samuel voiced out furiously.

I knew something was off all this while wwith how he looked at Gloria.He though.

Nathan just sat on the bed without saying anything. At this time. he was already feeling all better. All that was left was for the injuries to heal.

"What have you found ouIt so far about who he is working with?" Nathan asked after a while.

Kyle who had his sides to the wall stared at Nathan and with a serious expression responded. "Everything links to your uncle but he is good at hiding his tracks proper well. And who ever is sponsoring him to bring you down is practically powerful.There is nothing out there about who he is."

"What if there is something we are forgetting? What if who ever is behind this isn't powerful enough but rather just cautious. What if we are looking at this from all the wrong prospective?" Samuel added.

"One thing is for sure about the person being cautious if all this while there is still nothing found on him." Nathan frowned as he said that.

"And with all the enemies you made whiles climbing the ladder of the Clemon Group, who could be this cautious? Or did we forget something?" Kyle asked.

As if Nathan had thought about something. "Did you check all of his banking transactions of Mr. Richards and his wife's too?What about his son? Don't forget he is addicted to gambling.He should be in debts at this point. Because they last time his dad came to me, he was already in a debt close to half a million dollars."

"It couldn't just have vanished as I didn't transfer that money for the debt."

Kyle was shocked as he replied. "Already did all that and there was no debt to his name. Looks like it couldn't just have disappeared just like that."

"How about a flight to Eagle's land?" said Nathan.
