Chapter 89

Gasper together with James, Dennis and Stanley got into two different cars respectfully. Gasper shared James's car with him as Dennis and Stanley also shared Dennis's car. Stanley hadn't been himself since the accident with his boss and madam.

Dennis understood how he was feeling so he decided not to add to his turmoil there by silence ensured in their car all the way to the location where as it was the exact opposite for the others. James and Gasper were in rage as they couldn't fathom what has happened.

The big four was feared by everyone and it was impossible to infiltrate their privacy. Gasper could not comprehend how someone could get to attack Nathan when they were the least alert. To him, there was an insider who knew when to attack.

What he didn't know was that his assumptions would soon be true.

After driving for a while, the cars arrived at the designated location. As soon as they got off, they were all confused by what they saw.

Gasper hurriedly rushed over to Kyle. Crunching down to help him up he asked. "What happened here?"

Kyle took his hand and got off the floor but didn't respond.Dennis hurried over to his boss. "You okay Sir? Do you need something?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me. It's him that you should be worried about." With that he pointed towards Christopher.

Chris who was lying down motionless looked on and saw James and Stanley headed for him. They tried to help him up but he declined their help. "Don't touch me." He yelled angrily.

Everyone else was confused as to why he would be mad at them as James and Stanley were just trying to be of help.

"Get him into the car!" Kyle ordered coldly.

'Huh? Did they just here Kyle ordering them to put Chris into the car?' With confused look, James and Stanley starred at each other and then back at Kyle.

"Yes you heard me. Get him into the car. He will be coming with us to the base. He got a lot of explaining to do." Kyle explained.

The more they all listened to Kyle, the more confused they got.

When Kyle saw the confused look they were giving him, he sighed before explaining. "He will be telling us about his plan to get rid of Hilda because to him, she didn't deserve Nathan which ended up getting both Nathan and Hilda on their death bed."

"What?"

As if a bomb had been dropped, James, Stanley, Gasper and Dennis couldn't believe his words. Confusion, anger and rage

was all the expression they had on their faces. Stanley couldn't bring himself to believe it.

'No, no, no. It's not possible.' He thought.

Dennis was just also not believing what he had just heard. But it coming from his boss, he knew that was the truth. 'But why?'

Gasper's thought were running in a frenzy. He quickly rushed over to Chris who was beaten and almost half dead and raised his fists. His fist was just few inches from Chris's face when Kyle appeared right in front of him.

He caught Gasper's fist which was mere inches away from Chris and shook his head. "Save that for later."

Gasper was pissed. "Save that for later? Like seriously? He is a snitch. How could he have done this to Nathan? What if Nathan doesn't survive?" He blurted out exasperatedly

"You might end up killing him. And since we need him to get to the bottom of this, how about you go look inside the house for what could be left." Kyle responded.

Gasper shook his hand out of Kyle's grip as he angrily smashed the wall before walking away. Cracks formed on the wall from the impact of the punch. Chris looked at Gasper who was walking away and then the cracks from his punch and knew for a fact that that punch would have been the end of him.

He knew about how strong Gasper was but now seeing the

cracks formed on the wall from just a blow, he shuddered.

James and Stanley hurled him from the ground and into Kyle's car.Dennis shook his head as he starred at Chris. He has never once imagined that the fall of the big four will be from one of their very one.

After ensuring that there was no way Chris could escape, Kyle locked his car and with the others following, he walk into the abandoned house.

They began looking for anything that could be used to trace whoever it is that was here but there was none. After looking around for the nth time, Gasper voiced out.

"There is nothing traceable here. How about we get on with getting everything out of Chris? We are just wasting our time."

The others nodded as they already despised Chris for what he had done. They couldn't wait to get Chris tortured.

But the moment Kyle was about to respond, they heard all the car alarms going off.

"What the h*ll?" Kyle knew at once that something had happened. Which is either Chris had managed to escape or there is someone eIse out there.

He rushed out followed by the others. Only to be greeted with a sight of a car speeding off from the location as far as it could.Where as their car tyres were completely flat. There was no way they could chase after the car.

"D*mn it!" Gasper cursed.

No one would have thought that Chris could be able to get away yet still for him to be rescued by someone.

They had underestimated their enemy.

Looking at the direction where the car had sped off, Kyle bit on his teeth so hard. He had wanted to go easy on Chris as they had always been brothers. That was why he held Gasper back. But looking at what had happen now, he knew for a fact there is no way anyone will be willing to let him go.

"What do we do now?" Stanley asked.

"We need to find out whoever is behind all of this." Kyle responded.

"But for now, we need to get to the base first. Get someone to bring a car over." He added as he walked back into the house.
