Chapter 35

"Ms. Worry-Free? You alright in there?"

Ava's voice echoed from outside the door.

Ella's blindfold was swapped for sunglasses. She was shaking, glaring at Arthur.

Arthur straightened up, finished his last mnove, and slowly put on his clothes. He said coldly, "She just got a little bump. Go back, we'll be out soon!"

"Alright! Hurry up, you two!"

Ava lowered her eyes, hiding the hatred in them, and left.

As the footsteps faded, Ella collapsed to the ground.

Arthur glanced at her. "Get out, or people will get suspicious!"

"You..."

She had never met anyone as shameless as him.

Ella was still gettingdressed when Arthur, already fully clothed, walked out. "Don't forget to put on your blindfold! Otherwise, it's against therules!

"So annoying!"

Ella quickly got dressed and jogged after him.

Hearing his reminder, she went back to put on her blindfold.

Her vision was blocked, but Arthur didn't care, just striding away.

Ella had no choice but to support herself against the wall to move forward.

"You two are back, now report the data!"

The director smiled, his eyes scanning Arthur and Ella.

Seeing the creases on Ella's pajamas, his eyes flashed.

Cecilia, as the senior designer, started first. She accurately and meticulously recorded the model's measurements, also noting some imperfections and offering suggestions for adjustments.

The second person was Andy, who also had outstanding professional skills.

Ella was the third. She froze, not knowing what to do.

They had just measured halfway when the two of them...

As a couple, she knew all of Arthur's measurements by heart.

If she lost now. wouldn't it expose her identity?

She looked anxiously at Lily through her sunglasses and decided to say."

Mr. Smith, height: 6 feet 4.8 inches, head circumference: 21 inches, chest circumference: 42.8 inches..."

In one breath, Ella recited all the data.

After speaking, she lowered her head guiltily, not daring to look at Arthur.

Lily led the applause. "Amazing!"

Arthur took a step to Ella's side and said mockingly,"So detailed?"

Ella lowered her voice to explain, "I have a talent since I was young; I can tell just by looking! No need to measure!"

"Really?" Arthur responded indifferently.

"All three of you are equally impressive! The prize will be decided by drawing lots!"

The game ended without a winner, and the prize was decided by drawing lots, which seemed quite hasty.

However,it matched the director's style.

Next came the drawving lots session.

As Ella passed by Ava, she suddenly heard an exclamation.

"Ms. Worry-Free, what did you do just now? There's a special smell on you!"

Ava quickly covered her mouth, looking apologetic. "Sorry, I didn't mean anything by it, just speaking my mind!"

Ella took two steps back to keep her distance, a slight smile on her lips."

Then tell me, what kind of smell?"

Ava gritted her teeth. "Never mind, I smelled it wrong!"

"It's great that you're so straightforward! I'm the same way!" Ella linked arms with her. "I forgive you, and you should forgive me in the future!"

Lily ran over, her smile even brighter. "Yes, we're all straightforward people, no one should hold grudges! Let's keep in touch!"

The women smiledon the surface, but inside, they were hiding daggers.

Ella had incredible luck and drew an external aid card.

Lily gave a thumbs up. "Good job, you are the best!"

The two hugged to celebrate.

Arthur's eyes turned cold, his gaze falling on the two of them.

Next came a few more mini-games, mainly to help everyone get familiar with each other.

Ella and Lily kept winning, and Ava also benefited a lot since they were in the same group.

It was late into the night.

The director announced the end of the party, and everyone could go back to their rooms.

Ella and Lily kept chatting, holding hands as they left.

Behind them, Arthur's gaze was dark.

Alan approached. "Do you really like Ms. Worry-Free? You haven't even seen her face clearly!"

Arthur's cold gaze fell on him. "Do you have any problem with that?"

"Of course not!"

Alan quickly stepped back to keep his distance. "But I think you're being a bit too fickle, flirting with someone else while Ava is around!"

Arthur sneered and strode forward.

"Wait for me, Arthur! I need to talk to you."

"It's too late,we'll talk tomorrow!"

Arthur didn't stop; his pace had even quickened.

Arthur and Alan soon disappeared fromn sight.

Ava looked indignant.

When she heard footsteps behind her, she immediately changed her expression. "Arthur, ever so persistent, insists that I come to him under the cover of night!"

"Sweet couple!"

Jessa came over, looking envious. "Are you saying this to make us jealous?"

"Absolutely! It's to make us die of jealousy!" Brynn chimed in.

"Alright, don't laugh at me! By the way, there's a movie starting filming in a few days, are you interested? They need costume designers and actors!"

As soon as Ava spoke, everyone's eyes lit up. Especially Blair and Brynn, who, despite having sponsors, lacked golden opportunities.

So,hearing Ava's words, they quickly gathered around.

"If there's a good opportunity, you must think of us. There's a fashion show coming up, let's go together."

"Yes, and a new store opening, let's go shopping! I'll cover the bill."

Ava thoroughly enjoyed this feeling of being the center of attention.

She felt like a queen, being adored by everyone.

After chatting for a while, someone mentioned Ella.

"What's with that Ms. Worry-Free, always so mysterious, but ends up seducing Mr. Smith! Ava, I know you're a kind woman, but you should be cautious!"

"Yes, don't worry, we'll all keep an eye out for you!"

So they all noticed the issue.

Ava's face turned ugly. "Thank you! Actually, I trust Arthur, but sometimes..."

"Don't worry! We're all good friends!"

"Alright!"

Ava took out her phone and shared an invitation. "Let's go together then."

Using benefits to win friends was her usual tactic.

Though the method was crude, it was extremely effective.

They chatted and laughed, seemingly like real good friends.

The director watched from afar, shaking his head slightly.

The assistant director was puzzled. "What do you mean by that?"

"I just think these people are stupid!" The director commented bluntly, "Be more polite to Ms. Worry-Free in the future."
