Arthur looked at Ella's sleeping face and just couldn't bring himself to wake her up again. So, he gave her a quick wash, dried her off, and gently placed her back on the bed.

Even though Ella's eyes were shut, she was totally aware of everything going on. Once she was back in bed, she rolled over and drifted into a deep sleep.

When she woke up again, it was already getting dark. She grabbed her phone and saw a bunch of missed calls.

Ella jumped up, dialing back while heading to the closet to change.

"Ella, where are you? The gala's about to start! I couldn't reach you!"

"Sorry, I overslept. I'll be there in half an hour!"

"Alright, hurry up. I'll wait for you at the entrance. We'll make a grand entrance together!"

"Got it,see you soon!"

After hanging up, Ella quickly picked out a dress and sat in front of the mirror to get ready.

At a fashion party, everyone there was either rich or important. She had to look perfect, especially with her makeup and accessories. As a fashion designer, she couldn't afford to be sloppy.

Looking in the mirror, she noticed the red marks on her body and frowned. She was holding a backless dress, but the hickeys were too obvious

Reluctantly, she picked a different dress.

The new one had a high neck and a high slit, covering the hickeys perfectly.

Ten minutes later, with flawless makeup and dressed to the nines, Ella walked into the living room.

Arthur, who she thought had already left, was sitting on the sofa with his laptop.

Hearing her, Arthur slowly turned his head, raising an eyebrow. "Going out? Dressed like that?"

Ella's graceful figure and the perfectly tailored dress made her look like a goddess, impossible to ignore.

'Going out for what? To meet a lover?'

The dress was too form-fitting, with a high slit showing off her long legs.and the cinched waist highlighting her slender figure.

He felt a lump in his throat. "You can't go out!"

His words were cold and sharp.

Ella's smile faded, and she replied disdainfully, "Why?I married you,I didn't sell myself to you!"

As she spoke, she walked to the door.

She chose a pair of high heels, making her legs look even longer and more alluring.

Grabbing her bag, she was about to leave when she felt his cold gaze.She

smiled elegantly. "Sorry, I'm not your mistress, so I won't do everything you say."

Ella's glance was full of charm.

Arthur clenched his laptop. "Are you sure you want to go out?"

"Of course! Don't wait up for me tonight, go to bed early!" Ela,in her high heels, swayed her slender waist and disappeared out the door.

The door closed.

Arthur raised an eyebrow, lightly rubbing his fingers. He could still smnell Ella's scent on them.

She was becoming more and more unruly.

He picked up the phone, his thin lips parting, "Find out where Ella is going!"

After hanging up, he walked into the closet to change his clothes.

When he came out again, he was wearing a tailored suit, exuding an air of nobility, with a distant look in his eyes.

He elegantly raised his arm to check the time, then turned and left the house.

In the room, Sofia watched the two leave through a crack in the door.sighing.

"What are these two up to? They were fine when they were sleeping,what happened now?"

The maid was speechless.

She had been told not to pry into their business when she first started working here.

Now,seeing Sofia's worried face, she couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for her.

Sofia's words hung in the air, and she looked troubled. "Forget it, I need to get more medicine and go to church to pray tomorrow!"

Ella's eyes lit up, clenching her fist with determination. "We have to get it!"

At the entrance, luxury cars were everywhere, and handsome men and beautiful women were all around.

Everyone was arriving in pairs.

Ella and Lily walked in with their heads held high, their hair flowing.exuding charm, arm in arm.

Their entrance instantly drew a lot of attention.

"How was it? Are you full?"
