Chapter 52

"How can you say that about me!" Ava's voice trembled as she looked hurt, her lower lip quivering and tears brimming in her eyes.

The cameraman, sensing drama, quickly zoomed in on Ava.

Forget fancy clothes; two pretty girls arguing was pure gold for the viewers.

He knew exactly what the audience wanted.

Sure enough, Ava's teary-eyed look had the viewers riled up.

[Why are they picking on Ava? She just tried to be nice by offering her a coffee!]

[Don't cry, Ava. They're just being mean!]

[Who does Ms. Worry-Free think she is? She's always too busy to care about anyone. Even if her designs are good, I wouldn't want them.]

The viewers were all on Ava's side.

Ava had a bigger fan base compared to Ella, after all.

Lily was fuming. "What are you doing? Trying to cause trouble? Get lost!"

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She shoved Ava. "Can you stop crying every day? You're bringing us bad luck!"

"Don't push..."

Before Ava could finish, she stumbled forward, spilling the coffee she was holding.

A sharp scream echoed.

Ava hit the ground hard, tears streaming down her face.

Lily glanced at her, then turned to Ella.

"What do we do now?"

They had to finish the clothes and get them on the model today, according to the rules.

But Ava had spilled coffee all over the unfinished clothes.

The fabric was special; once wet, it wrinkled and couldn't be fixed.

Remaking it wasn't an option; there wasn't enough time.

Lily was frantic. "Ava is such a pain!"

Ella panicked for a second but quickly regained her composure. "Alright, don't worry, I've got this."

She glared at the camera aimed at Ava, feeling a surge of anger.

But now wasn't the time for that; the priority was finishing the clothes.

Without wasting a second, she dashed out of the studio and returned with a hairdryerto dry the fabric.

Ava watched her every move.

She slowly got up and bowed deeply to the camera. "I'm so sorry for messing up again. I even spilled coffee on the clothes! What are we going to do? It's all my fault."

Ava looked pitiful, her tears making her even more heart-wrenching.

As soon as she spoke, the viewers rushed to comfort her.

The cameraman, hearing her words, quickly shifted the focus to Ella and Lily, who were frantically drying the fabric.

They were too busy to notice anything else.

The cameraman wanted some dramatic footage, but there wasn't any, so he turned the camera back to Ava.

Seeing the comforting comments, Ava smiled through her tears. "Thank you all for your concern. I'm just a bit hurt from the fall. We're a team, and we have to face the problem together!"

She wiped her tears, her eyes filled with determination. "No matter what, I will help our team win!"

[Ava is amazing, she fell and got hurt but still wants to help. So kind!]

[She was just crying, and now she's thinking about helping. Ava is amazing!]

Amid the praise. Ava walked up to Ella.

"I'm sorry, it was all my fault..."

"Stop pretending. You know I didn't push you that hard. You fell on purpose and now you're acting. Get lost."

Usually, Lily was very tactful. But every time she faced Ava, she lost her cool.

She hadn't pushed hard, but Ava fell anyway.

She was angry about that, and even though she knew it was inappropriate

to say these things in front of the camera, she couldn't help it.

Ella shook her head, gently comforting, "Alright, no matter what the problem is, we can find a solution!"

"You're too kind, that's why people bully you!"

They pulled the fabric and used the hairdryer to dry it.

Ava stood aside like a child who had done something wrong, looking uneasy.

The studio was divided into two camps.

Lily and Ella were busy, while Ava seemed isolated.

Seeing this, the viewers were upset.

Many criticized Ella and Lily for workplace bullying, demanding an apology.

Ella was unaware of their comments, worried about what to do next.

The fabric was ruined. Even if dried, it couldn't be used as designed and needed changes.

Soon, the fabric was dry. Ella looked at the design draft, deep in thought.

The live room was filled with angry comments.

Lily, tired and sore, saw the harsh comments and was furious.

She glared at Ava.

Ava, like a scared child, shivered and hid in a corner.

After several deep breaths, Lily suppressed her anger and spat out through clenched teeth, "Ava, you're really something!"

At that moment, the assistant director walked in.

He politely looked at the camera. "Everyone is about to finish. The live stream will pause briefly to showcase the models wearing the clothing. Please stay tuned, see you in half an hour!"

The live stream was cut off.

Ella looked up at the director, then continued working.

The director had seen everything that happened in the live stream.

Seeing the ruined fabric, he sighed. "Ms. Worry-Free, don't worry. This is just the first live stream, no eliminations!"

In other words, even if they failed, it didn't matter, just a loss of reputation.

Hearing the director's comfort, Ella smiled. "As a designer, I have imagination and creativity. I can handle it. Trust me!"

"Good, you're truly the most promising designer. We look forward to your performance!"

The director, seeing Ella calm, patted her shoulder in appreciation and left.

With the live stream over, there were no outsiders.

Leo, worried, came over."Are you okay? Luckily, there's no elimination this time. Even if the final product is a bit off, no one will mind!"

"That's not the same!" Lily glared at Ava. "We're here to boost our reputation and career, unlike her, just to win fans!"

Reputation was crucial for designers.

Ms.Worry-Free hadn't designed many clothes, but each one was famous.

Having such an incident in the first show, she would definitely be criticized.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Lily slammed her fist

on the table. "I want to strangle her!"
