Chapter 300

Damian Valdemar watched helplessly as his bodyguards were dragged out of the room. His face turned deathly pale.

"You...you wouldn't dare touch me..."

His voice trembled as he met Sophia's icy gaze.

"Adrian is just a fatherless bastard. I'm the legitimate Valdemar heir..."

A mocking smile curled at Sophia's lips.

If Alexander weren't missing, Damian wouldn't dare act so arrogantly.

The manager of this five-star hotel wouldn't be fawning over him either.

Before leaving, she threw him a chilling remark. "Damian, do you know what karma is?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"The pit you dig for others will eventually become your own grave."

With that, Sophia strode out, instructing her guards to stand watch at the door.

Only Damian, Adrian, and the terrified Director Beatrice Holloway remained.

Cowering in the corner, Damian spat venomously, "Lay a finger on me and you'll regret it!"

Director Holloway swallowed hard. "A-Adrian, let's pretend this never happened. I won't demand the breach fee..."

She regretted everything. Had she known Adrian had such powerful backing, she'd never have targeted him.

Adrian's lips curled in disgust at their pathetic display.

He turned to leave.

Director Holloway exhaled in relief, thinking he'd spared them.

But minutes later, Adrian returned.

Two glasses of red wine glinted in his hands.

Director Holloway's pupils contracted.

It was the same "special cocktail" she'd prepared—a potent mix designed to lower inhibitions and cloud judgment.

"A-Adrian..." Her voice shook. "You're still half-brothers..."

Adrian scoffed.

"Brothers?"

His gaze turned razor-sharp. "When you drugged me, arranged the paparazzi, and tried stripping me—where was this brotherhood?"

"My only brothers are Alexander and Julian. What is this trash to me?"

Director Holloway fell silent.

Without ceremony, Adrian forced their jaws open and poured the wine down their throats.

Poetic justice.

Leaning against the wall, he waited.

Ten minutes later, the drugs took effect.

Director Holloway and Damian's eyes glazed over as they began tearing at their own clothes.

Adrian untied the director's restraints and exited.

Soon, obscene noises filled the room.

Adrian handed his phone to a guard.

"Go in. Get clear footage."
