Chapter 324

Sophia Laurent's clear voice echoed through the living room.

"If I was intentionally switched at birth, then Emily Lowell was complicit."

Victoria Lowell's face turned deathly pale. She swayed on her feet, nearly collapsing.

Nathan Lowell rushed forward and steadied her.

"Why?" Victoria's voice trembled. "The Lowells treated you well. Why would you steal my child?"

Nathan's lips curled into a cold smirk. "Isn't it obvious? They wanted the Lowell fortune."

Richard Lowell and William Lowell stood frozen, struggling to process the revelation.

Tears streamed down Emily's face like broken pearls.

After a long silence, William finally found his voice.

"Sophia, do you have proof that this was intentional?"

A mocking smile played on Sophia's lips.

"Proof?"

"Margaret Clementson and Margaret Delaney are sisters. One worked as a maid for the Lowells, while the other conveniently gave birth the same day as my mother. Then they just happened to 'accidentally' switch babies. How many coincidences is that?"

Henry Chamberlain added calmly, "Only careful planning could create so many 'coincidences.'"

William's heart ached at the sight of Emily's tear-streaked face.

"This is all speculation. You have no hard evidence."

Sophia nearly laughed at his willful ignorance.

"Let the police find the evidence."

Her tone remained composed. "Hospital surveillance footage is backed up every three months. The witnesses from that time are still alive. The truth will come out."

At these words, the Delaney sisters paled.

Margaret's husband suddenly adopted a pitiful expression.

"Sophia, I raised you all these years as a butcher. Is this how you repay me?"

Margaret burst into loud sobs. "After everything I've done for you! This is how you treat your own mother?"

Margaret Delaney wailed, "Mr. and Mrs. Lowell, I've served your family faithfully for decades. How could I do something so wicked?"

Before Sophia could respond, Nathan exploded with rage.

"Stop playing the victim! You made a little girl wash your clothes and cook for you in freezing winters. Some parents you were!"

His outburst left everyone stunned.

A flicker of surprise crossed Sophia's eyes before her expression smoothed over.

"Don't worry. The police will deliver justice to everyone involved."

With that, she had the Delaney family escorted straight to the police station.
