William Lowell advanced step by step, stopping directly before Dr. Preston Quincy.

"And you happen to be her old acquaintance."

Richard Lowell's expression darkened instantly, his fingers digging into his palms.

"That wretched girl! I should've strangled her at birth!"

Victoria Lowell stamped her feet anxiously, tears welling in her eyes.

"Dr. Quincy, we've treated you well..."

The recent glamour had intoxicated her. Though she didn't understand the technicalities, she recognized the gravity of the situation.

Dr. Quincy remained composed. "The research institute's funding came from Sophia's personal account."

"The contract was also signed with her."

This statement ignited William's fury.

"That money belongs to the Lowells!"

His eyes turned venomous. "Don't forget your wife and children are still in the capital."

Dr. Quincy frowned slightly.

Sophia had already relocated his family to safety.

The tech team admitted defeat. "The data is irrecoverable."

"The videos can be restored."

While research data used specialized encryption, the surveillance system employed standard deletion.

William's expression softened slightly. "Do it now."
