Chapter 311

The wilderness. The Celestial Sword Sect.

At the foot of the Celestial Sword Peak, the crowd stirred.

"Isn't that Su Zheng? The traitor who was supposed to die in the Outer Battlefield six years ago!"

"Shh, keep your voice down. He was the top genius of the Northwest back then, reaching the Half-Step Divine Demon Realm at sixteen."

"What does genius matter? He colluded with the otherworldly races and got nine Divine Demon Elders killed. Even his fiancée testified against him."

Amid the whispers, a ragged young man walked forward slowly. His body was covered in wounds, his clothes stained with blood, yet his back remained straight, his gaze sharp as a blade.

This was Su Zheng.

Once the prodigy who dominated the Northwest, now stripped of all his cultivation. Yet he had stubbornly returned to the place that betrayed him.

Inside the grand hall, the atmosphere was tense.

"Elder Luo, Bi Zhu and I are deeply in love. I hope you'll grant us your blessing." Chu Feng held a gilded betrothal letter, his smile confident.

Luo Quan frowned. "But Bi Zhu's engagement to Su Zheng—"

"Su Zheng has been dead for six years. The engagement is void." Chu Feng interrupted. "Besides, my Flame Cauldron Sect has two spots at the Primordial Academy. If Bi Zhu marries me, she can attend with me."

Qing Yi snorted and turned to leave, only to freeze at the entrance.

"Brother?"

Her shocked cry silenced the entire hall.

Chi Bi Zhu's pupils constricted, her fingers trembling uncontrollably. She had personally pushed Su Zheng into the abyss. How could he still be alive?

Su Zheng stepped inside, his gaze like a honed blade.

"Surprised?" He stared at Chi Bi Zhu. "When you stole my Divine Demon Marrow Elixir, did you ever imagine this day?"

"Su Zheng!" Luo Quan slammed the table and stood. "How dare you show your face here?"

"Why wouldn't I dare?" Su Zheng smirked coldly. "I wasn't the traitor. You were!"

Chi Bi Zhu forced herself to remain composed. "You colluded with the otherworldly races and got nine elders killed. I saw it with my own eyes!"

"What a convincing eyewitness account." Su Zheng's eyes glinted with frost. "Outside the Heavenly Gate, who was it that stabbed me in the back?"

Luo Quan roared, "Enough! The evidence is irrefutable, yet you still deny it?"

"Evidence?" Su Zheng scoffed. "Based solely on her word?"

A crushing pressure descended like a mountain, yet Su Zheng didn't flinch. He met Luo Quan's gaze head-on.

"Grandfather plucked you from the snow. Father treated you like a brother. And this is how you repay them?"

The hall fell deathly silent.

Su Zheng spoke slowly, each word deliberate.

"Today, I've returned to demand justice."
