Chapter 446
Adrian's dismissive attitude made Julian decide not to press further.
He turned to bid farewell to Alexander and Sophia.
Jasmine suddenly grabbed his sleeve.
Her eyes reddened with unshed tears. "Young Master Adrian, have I done something wrong?"
Adrian scoffed. "Drop the act. Your tricks don't work on me."
Jasmine dabbed her eyes, voice trembling. "Miss Sinclair, I apologize. I didn't know about your history with Julian..."
Her tone shifted subtly. "But they're brothers after all..."
The implication was clear—Tiffany was stirring trouble between them.
Julian frowned.
He grasped Jasmine's hand firmly. "Adrian, Jasmine will be your sister-in-law soon."
His gaze flickered toward Tiffany.
That single glance ignited Adrian's fury.
"Eyes to yourself!" He slammed his glass down. "You think this fake deserves your attention?"
"Adrian!" Julian's rare anger surfaced. "One more word and we're done."
Adrian froze.
Then exploded. "You'd cut ties with me for her?"
"Not cutting ties." Julian's voice softened. "But if you can't get along, limited contact benefits everyone."
"Have you lost your mind?"
Adrian raised his fist, ready to strike.
Tiffany quickly intercepted him. "Don't be rash..."
Though volatile, Adrian stilled at her touch.
"She's clearly manipulating you and Julian!"
Tiffany shook her head. "It doesn't matter. I barely know them anyway."
She planned to offer token mediation.
Just enough to save face later.
To her surprise, Adrian actually heeded her.
"Tiff..." Adrian suddenly noticed her small canine teeth, his anger dissipating.
He grinned. "Julian's always been an idiot. Never good enough for you."
Tiffany coughed lightly. "That's not what I meant."
She addressed the couple. "Since Mr. Valdemar has found love, let's cancel the arranged marriage. I wish you both happiness."
